Sandra Ponce

I am an American citizen, originally from San Diego, California. Raised most of my life in the border town of Tijuana Baja California, Mexico. Crossing borders to attend school, and work. Never fitting in here nor there. Learning from my struggles along the way. My greatest motivation always being my family. Those I love the most. I take my sorrows and triumphs and paint what I feel. Now I am here in the beautiful state of Texas. Finally living the life I dreamed “Mi sueño americano.” 

I am self taught. Acrylic and gouache Mixed media art. My art is an expression of my feelings.
