Inspired by 2023 Mexican Heritage Awards Evening Ballet Folklorico dancers. I had to get the excitement on canvas! Mesmerized by the swirling colors on stage I placed the traditional costumed dancer over an iconic Mexican Blanket. Solidifying my vision for this project. I hope to have captured the beauty, joy, and traditions of Mexican Culture with my painting.
